Who will make the biggest run to the superbowl?

whats good yardbarkers, i hope everyone has had a good holiday season....so calvin pace is back after being away for a brief minute. So since the playoff picture has taken form and the wild card round has taken place who do you guys see making the biggest run to the superbowl? i will say that i was very impressed with baltimore especially their offense and everybody knows what their defense brings to the table. Philly also impressed me with how they played also i think that Donovan is playing crazy right now and i see them beating the Giants in Nyc......holla back and give me your predictions.

Ok yardies....aside from football i really enjoy eating out especially in Nyc im not a food critic by any means but i do like to sample different types of food from different ethnicities. hopefully you guys enjoy a good meal also...what i need from you guys is just suggestions of places that you have been to in new york or atlanta and it can be any type of food....thanks

  my sister's a chef, and i went with her to WD-50 (http://www.wd-50.com/) when we were in NYC. the food was really good, but the desserts were almost all awful. nice place, though, so you should check it out if you haven't yet.

  I don't know a thing about the ATL, but as far as New York? I've got some suggestions for Good Eats. I won't go too fancy on ya!
  1) For pizza? Defara's in Midwood Brooklyn .. long lines long waits, best pizza ever!
  2) Steak? It's a bit cliche but I love Luger's!
  3) Barbecue? I know you're a southern boy at heart, so I'd have to say The Dinosaur or this newer place Hill Country.
  4) Hoity Toity French Fusion - Butter ... i'd like Alexandra Guarnaschelli to marry me ... but i'm already married ... Plus, you might run into Tom Brady there and then you can sack him!!
  As far as Baltimore ... any feelings on a certain coach from Baltimore that might be making a trip to visit the man who signs the checks??? :)

  whats up bassett, ive tried butter and the food was pretty good and the atmosphere is cool too and i agree Guarnaschelli is hot. For some reason as many place as ive been to i still keep going back to nobu 57 but i do want to try peter luger's if nothing else just say that ive been before.

  Baltimore is looking fine right now. That defense is hard to beat and the offense is starting to come on. Gotta go between Pitt and Balt in the AFC. NFC? Harder to call, but I like what Philly is doing now and if they get past the Giants, look out. Try the Buckhead Diner in Atlanta.

  I can definately see the Baltimore vs pit afc match I think the panthers can make a good run but I don't know if they can win with just running the ball but I guess it's been done before. I've been to buckhead diner and it was pretty good.....

  u ever come up to white plains? theres this small spot called "bravo peru". needless to say its got peruvian cuisine. if u ever make it there, ask for lomo saltado. its sauteed strips of meat with onions and tomatoes and comes wit white rice. that sh-t is bangin kid. best lomo in the world. and ive actually been to peru and jersey(its got a big peruvian population) and they aint got nuthin on the spot in white plains. they also got other good things in there too. later kid.

  Glad you're in NY! From a lifelong NY'er, I recommend Negril on 23rd(also one in the village). Great Jamaican and Car. food. Also, La Esquina in SOHO for exceptional Mexican, and quite a wide variety. I've been going to Marseilles for years(43rd qnd 9th) and although the menu often changes, it is consistently good French food and a good looking place. If you want Korean food, walk along 32nd street and enter any place; they're all between good and great. Try Korean Barbeque-you can't get that in Atlanta!!

  for the eagles fans i dont know if they can win the super bowl but i do feel like theyre peaking at the right time, mcnabb is playing like they mcnabb that people love, and theyre playing well on d but obviously they have to stop brandon jacobs this week and contain the giants d line. ive respected the eagles since i got in the league but ive always wondered why they dont run the ball more or more effectively.

  I think the Cowboys will win it all. Oh, that's right, we got waxed by the Eagles. I was hoping it was all a bad dream. Seriously, I think it will be the Chargers and the Eagles. I think that Phillip Rivers is going to get on a roll, and I believe McNabb will solidify his resume as a Hall of Fame Quarterback by winning it all. The Giants ended the Cowboy's season last year, and they won the Super Bowl. The Eagles put us out of our misery this year, so it is their turn to reach the pinnacle. It will probably be our arch enemy, the Redskins, winning it all next year. The torture never ends. As far as eating, I live in Brownsville, Tx, and I never go anywhere, but if you are ever down this way, my wife makes some great tacos. Take care.

  if your into indian food you should try tamarind it's in manhattan around 20th street. another place down the block from that is this crazy good spanish fusion type jumpoff called bolo. both excellent. in terms of the playoffs i feel like the eagles are the most dangerous right now. brian westbrook is just always coming up with those big plays. (sorta like leon)

  I think after using their momentum and fire to knock off the Giants, the Eagles miss out on the Super Bowl to Carolina. And in the AFC, I think the Ravens follow a similar pattern they did in Miami of having their defense keep the young Flacco afloat and make it to the Super Bowl. I think in a disappointing Super Bowl Carolina somehow pulls it out.
  As for eating, I'm a big Chinese guy. Buddakan and Shun Lee. The two best without a doubt.

  yo calvin- im going with philly making the best run in the playoffs. im a philly guy so im a lil biased but i just think our D is playing its best football right now, and if we can get going on offense we are a scary team. we can move down the field but we have trouble getting TD's when in the redzone. I love the fact that you also think the eagles are going far. also great year playing this year man... cant deny ur talent. keep it going balla..

  when in the ATL, don't bother with pizza or chinese food. It's gross what passes out here. I will say that I found 1 spot in Marietta (i believe) that has good pizza, (on windy hill rd within the same shopping center as fudgeruckers and some hot dog place) .
  
  the steak at Rock bottom Brewery and resturant in buckhead is great, and the beer is good too.
  
  My hope is a superbowl for the birds (Eagles vs Ravens). If there is a team in the NFC that can beat the Ravens it would be the Eagles. They are very familiar with each other since they play each other in the preseason just about every year, and football is an east coast sport.
  
  on a side note, they put a small statue of William Penn on the comcast building so he can see the games (refereence to william penn curse) since then the Phillies won the WS.

  I think that the Eagles have a very chance of making it to the SB. This weekend is going to be a slug fest against the Giants. I think whoever wins this game is going to win the NFC. Let's go Eagles. As for the AFC, I think the Steelers are going to come out on top.
  
  I know you are looking for suggestions for restaurants in NY, but I got a good place for you in NJ. Solar Do Mihno in Belleville, NJ. It's up in North Jersey like 15 minutes out of NYC. It's a Brazilian/Portuguese steak house and it's the bomb. My suggestion is the Rodizio. Over 10 different types of meat (filet mignon in bacon, turkey in bacon, top sirloin, skirt steak, a ton more) being brought to your table and sliced right there. The sangria is off the hook.

  hey calvin pace im glad that you interact with the fans like you do i can see your really down to earth i an eagles fan am hoping for an upset against the NY Giants i hope so even though i worry at times but than again i think we will win... i like your choice on picking the eagles if u where to give a prediction score wise what will be your prediction....
  I think the eagles will start off fast I pray they do an if the defense for our eagles can dominate like they did dallas an rack up points that will help rest our eagles.... i mean a bye week is good an many bye week teams during the playoffs play good an eventually win but they (giants) have lingering injuries on key players and the eagles are on fire the upside is we got a wave of motivation riding us up the turnpike to the Giants Stadium and escaping with a win....

  ATL-just had the best steak of my life at Kevin Rathbun Steak last week. Also, Fat Matt's Rib Shack has the best ribs EVER (this is where I take my out of town guests)! If your a beer guy, try the 5 Seasons Brewery (they have great food too) or The Brick Store Pub in Decatur. On the ethnic side, I had a great Turkish meal at Cafe Istanbul in Decatur. Reserve the room where you sit on the floor and the floor and they have belly dancing.
  NY-Whenever I go up there, I have to make a pilgrimage to at least one of 2 Chinese restaurants...Wo Hop (the downstairs location on Mott Street in Chinatown) or Ho Wan on Liberty Ave. in Queens. I still haven't found a decent Chinese restaurant in ATL!

    Yah! We short people are takin' over! Actually, I gotta root against the Chargers on principle (my team's in the AFC West). I think it'll be Giants on the NFC side; Baltimore or Pittsburgh on the AFC.
    I don't stay in NY or ATL so I can't help ya there. But if you're ever in the Bay I got recommendations all day. And we got every kind of ethnic food out here!

  Man, I hate this Philly over NYG upset pick! The Giants have the formula for winning - STRONG running game to set up the pass and a D-Line that gets to the QB. I'll admit that we've been playing like we're been prepping for the playoffs for the last 5 games (excpet the 2nd half against Caronlina), but the G-Men will bring the heat in the playoffs!

  AFC- Baltimore and that is fighting tooth and nail the next two weeks.
  NFC- Philly has the best defense in the NFC and a lot of potential on offense. (Philly gets revenge on Carolina in the NFC Championship for the 2003 season NFC title game)
